About Steppingstones to Recovery

Recovery from addictive diseases is a lifelong process. To give a boost to this reality, Steppingstones offers weekly follow-up sessions for a minimum of 1 year for all who satisfactorily complete the program. Statistics demonstrate that those who complete this recommendation have a high percentage of long-term success in sobriety.

STR is a low-cost, low-overhead program that operates on a tight budget and therefore makes no apologies for this policy. Rationale for this practice: pre-payment allows less stress during the treatment process, a greater degree of acceptance of the program, stronger commitment, and this investment is proven to indicate a greater degree of motivation to learn and improve the quality of life.

Steppingstones is not a hospital-based \"inpatient\" treatment facility offering medical and detoxification services, but refers out to a number of facilities for this purpose in an effort to match the proper level of care with financial resources.

Steppingstones does, however, offer a Recovery Residence sober living facility for men through its linked 501c3 not-for-profit company, the Awakening Center, and transports its clients via shuttle the 3 miles to daily Intensive Outpatient treatment sessions. This is an affordable alternative to expensive inpatient treatment if the client is appropriate for this lower level of care.

The Women\'s facility is separate (Parkway Place) but the same schedule and fees.

Steppingstones \"bundles\" treatment and residential fees together as follows (insurance may cover a part of the treatment cost but usually not residential fees):
6-week Treatment Program: $7,000
4-month Treatment Program: $11,000
6-month Treatment Program: $14,000
