We provide housing and recovery programs to women prison, jail, drug treatment and homelessness.

Unique Lady\'s of Character (ULOC) provides transitional housing for those in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Mango, Lutz, Brandon, and surrounding Florida communities, who are transitioning from prison, jail, drug treatment facilities and homeless women.

We are client advocates for court, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Hillsborough Kids, attorneys, mental health, health insurance and food stamp assistance. We provide substance abuse counseling from professional licensed counselors, supportive groups - life skills, anger management, employment coaching, cognitive thinking and health support groups. We are an approved provider for Access To Recovery (ATC) through the Florida Department of Children and Family Services. We help women find stable housing and provide references for them.

We offer many sober living homes throughout the greater Tampa, Florida Area. These homes are set up exclusively for women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. ULOC's intention is to provide the highest quality of living at affordable rates for those serious about recovery. We have spent years actively involved with and supporting the recovering communities through outreach, presentations and involvement in many programs.

Sober Residence & Recovery Program
Our primary goal is to help residents focus on recovery as a way of life. Residential sober living affords the individual time to develop the necessary skills to build a rich and full life. Abstinence is just the beginning. Healthy and continuous sobriety requires many significant changes. In this atmosphere of love and acceptance, the disease of addiction begins to lose its grip on your life.

There are many people with the disease of addiction, and there are not enough safe environments in which they may recover, resulting in sometimes fatal circumstances. Our goal is to provide safe housing for all who need it, with the comforts of home, and a feeling of close-knit peer support.

Our homes are clean and inviting, secure and alcohol/drug free. ULOC offers their clients a foundation and platform which assures that the transition from treatment centers to our homes is consistent with the principles of recovery. Structure, accountability, self-discipline are the guidelines used at most treatments and are carried forth at the ULOC homes. Please contact us for more information.
